I had to visit the BECCA section at Ulta in Compton a few times.  The first time it was too soon and my shade wasn’t in the display then I went back again and it was sold out, which did not surprise me for my area.  Lots of rich-toned women with great taste in beauty products.  I initially wanted to go with Coffee but it was too light for my everyday concealer.  I’m okay with going 2 shades lighter but prefer only going 1/2 or 1 shade lighter.  This concealer is so thick and rich and it’s easy to apply too much, the amount you see on the brush is almost too much product so it’ll last forever.  I initially used this with my NYX orange color corrector from their CCC palette out of sheer paranoia.  The 2 products don’t play well with one anther and by the end of the day I had more than acceptable creasing and it was there to stay so I couldn’t do the finger blend and push trick.  Not all products play nice with one another; that goes for products within the same brand sometimes as well.  But I had to put total trust in Ultimate Coverage Concealing Creme and wear/ test it alone and I realized I didn’t need to color correct with it.  The concentration of pigments is something serious!  I have oily skin and this stuff stays in place until it’s time to be washed away.  I was nervous about how it would perform because castor oil is listed as the first ingredient and sometimes emollient products don’t like my skin as much as I love them.  It does feel sticky while blending but has such a lovely natural finish and it’s so pigmented that you won’t even care, it feels weightless during the day.  So far BECCA is on a winning steak!
