Makeup Look Breakdown: Bold Neutrals with a Pop of Iridescent Green

Just a breakdown of the look I wore for Easter.  It’s been a while since I wore this much makeup or a look this “heavy”.  Of course to me it isn’t heavy at all and actually feels pretty lightweight.  Funny how I’m a ad darker from hiking in Runyon Canyon a few days ago yet I’m still able to use the same foundation I’ve worn for months.  My forehead is a lot darker so I only take the foundation to the lower center of my forehead instead of using a second darker shade.  I’m often asked “is it okay if I don’t wear foundation all over”.  I do it and it works for me.  As long as everything is blended and it is undetectable, why not?  We had a small dinner at my grandmother’s house and as soon as she saw my makeup her 88 year old self said, “now if I wore my makeup like that you would be calling me a hoochie.”  I would lol. But she plays with color and loves a good bronzer and illuminator so she’s already doing better than most her age.
