Singer-songwriter Ilhame Paris (pronounced “ee-lem,” meaning “inspiration” in Arabic), will release her debut album Just Wish It in fall 2013. The album features collaborations with Nicolay (Foreign Exchange), Shafiq Husayn (Sa-Ra Creative Partners), T3 (Slum Village), rapper Big Pooh (Lil Brother), and Ky-mani Marley, a salute to the continuing legacy of Bob Marley.

Ilhame Paris’ Top 4 Beauty Tips

1. Rose Water
I try not to wash my face with regular water, but instead with my favorite rose water. I then apply my eye-firming cream and my moisturizer. I’m currently using Perricone MD, but I also like other products like La Prairie, Clarins and Estée Lauder. I’m really in love with Estée Lauder Night Repair – it’s one of my favorite skin products.
2. Argan Oil
Argan oil is from Morocco and is really good for your skin and your hair. I’m addicted to my honey mask. I do it a couple of times a week at night. I make it myself with olive oil or argan oil – whichever you prefer – and mix it with honey and a little lemon juice.
3. Bronzing Powder
I really like the Chanel Bronzing Powder. Put a little on your cheeks (or the cream blush by Yves Saint Laurent) for a healthy look and some gloss. You’ll be ready to go – and for sure with a smile.
4. Body Hydration
For my body, I apply argan oil to my skin too. I use Moroccan black soap and scrub. I leave it on for 5 or 10 minutes and then wash everything off with a glove. Then I apply razoul for another 5 to 10 minutes and wash that off. The secret is to hydrate your skin with a mixture of your lotion and argan oil.
