Milani Rose Powder Blush in Romantic Rose Review and Swatches
How cute is this
Chanel-inspired rose patterned blush from Milani Cosmetics?!
I’m still hunting for Tea Rose and Coral Cove but in the meantime I have Romantic Rose fo’ yo’ viewing pleasure. Looking at the stock images for these blushes I expected them to be a bit stiff or rough in texture and I was wrong. Well the camera deceived me. The texture is really nice. If you’ve ever used Illamasqua Powder Blushes I promised Milani Rose Blushes ($7.99) are really close. It’s firm, smooth (almost silky-like), and the pigment is great. It almost gives the skin a defused look like it’s coming from within like a cream blush would do. Romantic Rose is a soft warm pink that’s builable and has a natural matte finish. During the winter my skin loses its warmth and returns to more of a yellow tone so cooler blushes look more natural on me. Because I love and want to preserve the pattern of this blush so much I’ve been using with with my Make Up For Ever Flat Blush Brush but any brush will work. For the price and quality I would grab all 3 shades because they’re 3 must-have colors no matter your one or the season.
