I’m all about skincare right now. As much as I love makeup I find just as much if not more joy in removing it and having a proper skincare routine especially during the colder months when my skin is repairing from summer damage and becoming more and more thirsty. I’ve started a whole new regimen and wanted to introduce you guys to a brand that’s been in heavy rotation, Pur-lisse. As soon as I read “radiance to your skin through authentic time-tested Asian beauty wisdom with advance French cosmeceuticals” I got a rush of skincare euphoria. No one understands skin care like Asia, France, and Africa. The creator/ CEO, Jennifer Yen wanted help with her skin and just like I would do she went straight to her grandmother and got her skin together. She decided to turn her expertise into a skin care brand.
I’ve been having these products in rotation and they’ve exceeded my expectations. I’ll be sharing my complete fall skin care routine soon but wanted to introduce you guys to the products I’m loving the most.
Blue Lotus cleansing milk fused with Soy Milk, Whole Oat and White Tea is a gentle, soap & sulfate free cleanser that washes away dirt, impurities & makeup in 1 simple step. This soothing multi-tasker leaves skin pure and clean without stripping skin of its natural oils.
This has been my go-to morning cleanser. Imagine a milky creamy oil cleanser without the hassle of emulsifying. You start with damp skin (or dry depending on your preference), it creates a this low foaming moisturizing cleanser. It doesn’t mess with my eczema and it just adds a little more moisture back into my skin than my regular cleansers. IMO you don’t need harsh cleansers, especially in the morning if you have an awesome nightly routine and don’t go to bed with a dirty face. It’s all about balance.
Blue Lotus eye serum enhanced with active ingredients like French marine plants, Matrixyl 3000 and Haloxyl bring 4x the power against aging in this intensive eye serum. This proven complex work together against wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness, while hydrating and lifting the delicate eye area.
Yasssss! An eye serum that’s not in a jar or has anything that requires two hands. I’ve had countless eye creams and this one is at the top. It has this nice thick (but not too thick) and nourishing. Even when I feel lousy and don’t get as much sleep as I want I my eyes always look refreshed and supple during the entire day. I use it morning and night around the entire eye area then apply moisturizer. I also wear it before applying makeup to reduce puffiness and darkness. Amazon even has the small travel size available if you want to try it before committing to the full size.
Blue Lotus brightening serum enhanced with 9 powerful plant extracts work together to visibly improve uneven skin tone, dullness, discoloration and age spots without harsh ingredients. This hydroquinone-free formula safely delivers radiance, luminosity and clarity to complexion, while guarding against future damage.
I have blemish-prone skin so I can never have too many brightening serums around. This one is free of hydroquinone has a gentle creamy texture that doesn’t leave the skin dry, I’m really loving it. But it has been a little slow as handling the blemishes which is understandable because it takes time to get rid of dark marks but it’s handling overall evenness and tone just fine.
Blue Lotus balancing moisturizer with White Tea, Vitamin E and French Marine Plants glides on like a gel and hydrates like a cream. This fast-absorbing, soothing formula instantly delivers intense hydration and prevents fine lines and wrinkles for healthy, dewy and supple skin.
This balancing moisturizer takes the guess work of trying to figure out what moisturizer you need since it works for all skin types. I have oily skin and tend to over moisturize to compensate for the oil my skin is overproducing.
Advanced treatment lip nourisher enriched with Mango & Shea Butters, Jojoba & Rice Bran Oils and Vitamin E richly hydrates and seals in moisture. Our exclusive petroleum~free balm heals dry and cracked lips leaving them lush, soft, moist and youthful~looking.
I live for a good lip moisturizer but I didn’t find myself head-over heels in love with this one. It gets the job wrong don’t get me wrong but the formula is too thin in texture for my preference. I just use a ton of lip balm, it’s pretty ridiculous.
I haven’t dabbled in the sheet masks yet but I’m looking forward to using them this weekend.
