SephoraPro was what I’d like to call the special treat of The Makeup Show L.A. this year.

their line up of eyeshadows, blushes, and makeup brushes was really impressive.  Not to mention the staff’s makeup was flawless and I found them to be the most helpful.  Did I mention the purchase went towards my Sephora Rewards? Yessss!

The Colorful collection will consist of newly reformulated eyeshadows and blushes, with the eyeshadows already in store and the blush colors come April 7th.  They come encased in black cases with flip tops with an indentation to remove the magnetic pan. Sephora is also carrying 3 and 6-refill pans so this all plays into the possibility of an entire SephoraPro line or program that I’ve heard rumors about.  In February they unveiled the new Spehora Pro Team so who knows what’s in store.

I could have easily spent a fortune at this booth because they had eyeshadows and blushes in so many vibrant colors and finishes.  I decided to play it safe and practice some patience and just went with 4 items.  I wanted to just test the waters because I’ve always said Sephora Collection was comparable to many of the higher end brands we love when it comes to a large majority of their products.  I’ve only had 2 products I didn’t like from the brand in nearly 7 years so that’s a pretty good streak.

Picnic In The Park N° 7 Eyeshadow ($12.00/ 0.07 oz)  – Grassy green shimmer.  1 swipe, no primer, not even used with a brush so imagine how it’ll look if used with a damp eyeshadow brush.  Simply gorgeous!  It has this silky texture that’s becoming popular with eyeshadows.

Sailor Kiss N° 20 Eyeshadow ($12.00/ 0.07 oz) – Dark blue matte. 3 swipes, no primer.  I swear I can see a hint of green in this dark blue, something makes it pop.  Maybe because it’s a true dark blue as opposed to navy blue which can sometimes look almost black.  It feels like a true powder eyeshadow.

I’m Quite Tipsy Blush ($15.00/ 0.12oz) Bright warm pink matte.  2 swipes, no primer.  So smooth and not overly pigmented.  It’s just as smooth as Illamasqua powder blushs without being powdery.
