SheaMoisture Superfruit Complex Bath, Body & Massage Oil is described as a “blend of Red Raspberry, Goji, Acai and Guava extracts. Highly effective in promoting smooth, youthful skin. Mango Butter – a rich emollient that intensely moisturizes and rejuvenates for soft, supple skin. Green Coffee Bean Extract – Helps nourish, contour and smooth dimpled uneven skin.”
You’ll either buy this body oil because it smells like fresh berries or because you want a skin-firming body oil, maybe even for both reasons but you won’t be disappointed. SheaMoisture rarely ever disappoints. I grabbed this one at the Ulta grand opening and it was on one sale. If you don’t know, you can always catch SheaMoisture on sale and this bottle was around $5. I’ve been working out a lot more lately and I can’t stress it enough…moisturize you skin…double up whatever you’ve been doing once you start working out and stay hydrated. Skin stretches and expands when you gain and lose weight. The best way you can combat stretch marks and even those pesky thigh dimples this is the oil you want. It’s high in antioxidant fruit oils such as mango, goji, guava, & raspberry but also has green coffee extract to stimulate. Because I don’t want to take any chances with caffeine, I tend to use this oil in the morning sometimes over dry skin and it absorbs just fine.
Tip: I randomly wanted to see how this oil would do to remove my makeup. Let’s just say I took one for the team lol. It’s a thick full-body oil and the dead giveaway was when I read massage oil on the bottle. Luckily, I had a bar of African Black Soap nearby and let me just say it went from “what the hell did I just do” to “this is amazing” in 30 seconds. Combined they created a rich, moisturizing lather that whisked away my makeup in no time, leaving my face nourished and smooth. You could also combine this oil with some rosin for helping to massage away aches and muscle pain. If you’re curing rosin yourself though, warm it up a bit first to get it to a good consistency for massaging.
